Who We Are & What We Do
Project PACK Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting survivors of sexual assault throughout Massachusetts with our Post-Assault Comfort Kits.
Mission
Project PACK Inc. began its work in 2006 when the need was first recognized but wasn’t officially incorporated until June of 2013 and received its 501c3 status in September 2014.

PACKs are meant to assist survivors as they begin to take control back over their bodies. It may begin with the simple task of brushing their teeth but it allows them to move forward from this assault one small step at a time.
Vision
In the beginning PACKs were assembled and distributed to hospitals located on the Massachusetts’ South Shore. As support for the program grew so did the number of patients covered by the program. In 2012 Project PACK Inc. expanded to distribute PACKs to hospitals located throughout the state and in January 2015 the expansion continued with the creation and distribution of a Pediatric PACK to Children’s Advocacy Centers statewide.
Currently Project PACK Inc. collaborates with the Massachusetts Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) Program to distribute PACKs to the patients/survivors they treat. These PACKs are securely located on the SANE carts which house the evidence collection kits so they are easily accessible. The evidence collection process is lengthy and on average can take upwards three to four hours to complete.
